Ending a Mediation: When, How and Why

Zandy Fell, Jeff Katz, Jill Murphy

A panel discussion about what informs a decision to conclude, continue or terminate.

How do we know when the mediation is over? What informs a decision to conclude, continue or terminate? How and when do we provide this information to parties? How do we end proceedings? What are the issues that may arise and how do we deal with them?

A VADR CPD Zoom event at 6pm on Wednesday 17 June 2026 will feature a panel discussion exploring thoughts and strategies on Ending a Mediation: When, How and Why. The panel will be convened by Jodie Grant and features Jeff Katz, Zandy Fell and Jill Murphy – expert, highly experienced panellists representing a wide spectrum of dispute resolution practices (FDR, workplace, restorative justice, community).
